Driving Change on the Greens: Glendower Charity Golf Day

On 15 May 2025, the rolling fairways of Glendower Golf Course hosted an inspiring charity golf day that brought together industry partners to support vital causes. The event demonstrated how powerful collaboration can be when focused on making a positive impact.
Support came in many forms—from booking fourballs and sponsoring holes, to contributing exceptional raffle prizes. These efforts made the day a true success, both on and off the course.
Among the most anticipated raffle prizes were two exclusive contributions from ATE:
- A Pro Shop gift voucher, proudly provided by ATE
- Four tickets to the Extreme Festival at Zwartkops Raceway, courtesy of the ATE VW Challenge

Guests enjoyed refreshments, meaningful conversations, and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. The evening concluded with an exciting charity auction, featuring exclusive memorabilia and luxury holiday packages—helping raise even more for the chosen causes.
Funds raised will go toward supporting two exceptional initiatives making a difference in South Africa:
- Lions BrightSight – Providing free corrective eyewear to underserved communities, giving the gift of clear vision to those in need.
- The Ebenezer Psychiatric Home – Offering long-term care, therapy, and vocational training to adults living with severe psychiatric conditions.
